This 12-day trip begins at Mile 442 on the Alaska Highway and ends near Mount Churchill where guests will meet the bush plane for the flight back to Fort Nelson. This expedition is mostly riding, but there will be some walking over steep terrain. It is a spectacular route, starting in lower country and finishing high in a valley surrounded by majestic mountain peaks. Most days will be spent travelling with the pack string, with some days off to allow for rest and day hikes. This trip is best suited for people who are riders and have experience riding in the backcountry as the terrain is considered advanced. You will also need to be physically fit to manage long days in the saddle, getting on and off your horse several times in the day, and some hiking.
